problem?
- Q.:
How is the line to be brought into the customer’s facility?
- A.: Our vertical
dryers are composed of modules. Usually they are delivered as single units, which
will have to be connected for installation.
For example:
VDH 144 - The dryer is divided into two parts, infeed (3,680 mm) and outfeed
(4,260 mm).
VDH 300 - The dryer is divided into four parts, infeed (3,680 mm), outfeed
(4,260 mm), one middle part (3,960 mm) and another short module (1,980 mm).

Q.: How fast can you deliver spare parts?
- A.: Exchange parts, which are on stock, can be delivered per express within
24 hours (even to the States).
Go back
Q.: How do we work with the manual?
- A.: You will get the manual as
a pdf- file on CD- ROM with the delivery of your equipment.
If you put the CD into your CD- Rom drive and have a look at it, you will have the menue
with the contents at one glance.
Without leafing and searching you will get the desired information
by mouse- click.

Q.: How do we find the right spare parts identifications, order-no. etc.?
- A.: This is very easy, as there
will always be "spare parts lists” and photos contained in
your manual(s).
The so called “spare parts list” gives you the identification number
(=order number), the exact designation, the number of parts as well as
the the mark for wear part. Please give us the identification number for
your spare part order.
Go back
Q.: How can your machine be identified here?
- A.: On every delivered machine there is a type label with the machine
number.
With this number we are able to give you all necessary information for
your equipment.
Go back
Q.: Who will train our operating personnel?
- A.: After every installation our service technicians will train your
personnel by doing test runs and giving concrete demonstrations. If agreed, we can assist you during
your first production runs.
Go back
Q.: How long is the guarantee- period
for your equipment?
- A.: Generally we grant one year guarantee, if working one shift, on machines and spare parts,
if they have not been identified as wear parts.
Go back

- A.: Generally by pc - the process is visualised on
screen/ display. The usual visualisation software for Windows®XP: VisiWin or Intouch.
Go back

Go back
Q.: How do you make sure, that the profile and the distribution of temperature will meet the customer's requirements?

- A.: When
travelling long- distance mostly via Frankfurt or Amsterdam.
Frankfurt Airport - KLM, Lufthansa, North/West, United

Amsterdam Airport - KLM, Lufthansa etc.
From Chicago United is also heading for Munich and
Dortmund.
When travelling by air within Europe, Dusseldorf, Hannover
and Frankfurt can be the possible destinations, e.g. by Air
U.K.
From Amsterdam and Frankfurt you may also take connecting
flights to Paderborn (EDLP), Dortmund or Munster. From
Paderborn travelling to Geseke by car may take you another 15
minutes, from Dortmund approx. 35 minutes and from Munster about
1 hour. After prior agreement we can also take you from each of
these airports to Geseke.
- When having
landed in Dusseldorf or Hannover, travelling by (rental)
car to Geseke may take about 2 hrs. Alternatively you can also
travel by train and we will pick you up at the station.
- Another
option: From Frankfurt Airport straight to Kassel
travelling by fast ICE- train. From Kassel you may either
go by another train or by rental car to Geseke (about 1 hour by

- A.: On this

- Q.:
I would like to print certain pages containing information on
MASS's products, but the pages are just being printed partly or
certain parts are chopped off. What is the problem?
- A.: This
issue depends on dynamic formatting of contents on webpages. We
are of course trying hard to create the pages in a way, that you
will be able to print them easily and correctly, too. However, page formatting in
browsers differs from formatting in word processing software.
One way to meet these requirements and issues is, that we are in
fact offering you to download zipped .pdf- files of the
corresponding product information - there's a download- link
on each page containing information on our products (simply
download it, unzip it and read it with your pdf- file viewer).
- Perhaps
your browser or the corresponding printer software also gives
you the option to adopt the webpage to be printed out to the
paper size that you are currently using.
Or you may have the pages printed in landscape- orientation
instead of portrait (see your printer setup), if parts on the
right or left sides are missing. This might on the other hand
increase the number of pages printed out in the end.
