Scope of application of lacquer casting machine
MASS lacquer casting machines are used to coat printed circuit boards with photo-structurable solder resist using the lacquer casting process. The lacquer is pumped from a reservoir into the casting head, which, in turn, creates a curtain of lacquer that extends across the entire working width of the machine and uniformly coats the surface of the printed circuit board. The perfect result is achieved, among other things, by the speed of 90 m/min at which the printed circuit boards pass through the coating curtain. MASS offers several types of these machines: Lacquer casting machines type LGW with and without exchangeable casting unit and lacquer casting machines type LG 2 with two casting heads.
Lacquer casting machine lgw: functionality and structure
On the LGW lacquer casting machine, the complete casting unit can be moved out, and all supply lines can be disconnected by means of plug-in connections. The casting unit is held in guide rails and can be pulled out forwards on rollers. This enables quick changeover, maintenance and cleaning operations. The lacquer can be easily replaced, so this machine is perfect for experiments.
The advantages of the lg coating molding machine
- Two interchangeable casting heads
- Automatic viscosity control for the lacquer supply
- Digital display of lacquer temperature with temperature control
- Loss-free coating application
- Continuously adjustable parameters for drive and motor at the touch of a button
- Clear control panel with digital display
- Hood cover – transparent in the area of the casting head
- Air extraction downwards
Lacquer casting machine lg 2: functionality and structure
The LG 2 lacquer casting casting machine with two removable casting heads is used for processing photo-structurable solder resists and photoresists for the production of single-sided circuits and inner layers of printed circuit boards. In this version, two separate pouring stations are arranged one behind the other, which can be optionally set in function. Temperature and viscosity are controlled separately for both stations. If a station is not to perform a coating operation, the coating falls into a collecting tray below the casting lips and is returned to the side of the tank through the return chute. The printed circuit board passes through this station without being coated. If a higher degree of coating is required, both casting stations can be put into operation. The printed circuit board is then coated twice.
The advantages of the lg 2 lacquer casting machine
- Processing of various coatings
- Quick lacquer replacement
- Preparation of lacquer tests
- Quick cleaning of a casting head
- Better capacity utilization
- Uninterrupted course
- Continuous flow
- Increase productivity
